Prishtina, 27 July 2021 – The Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has organized the Kosovo Solar Forum. The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, opened the conference together with the USAID Deputy Director, Gëzim Hysenagolli.

[pdf] On August 15, 2025, the IRS released Notice 2025-42 (the Notice) providing new beginning of construction (BOC) guidance for solar and wind projects claiming production and investment tax credits under sections 45Y and 48E of the Internal Revenue Code.
[pdf] For new energy storage stations with an installed capacity of 1 MW and above, a subsidy of no more than 0.3 yuan/kWh will be given to investors based on the amount of discharge electricity from the next month after grid connection and operation, and the subsidy will not last for more than 2 years.
[pdf] The city's new energy storage subsidy policy directly addresses this gap, offering up to €6,000 for residential systems and €50,000 for commercial installations.
